Marisa Tomei and Joshua Jackson will join Alexander Siddig in Ruba Nadda’s sophomore directorial effort,  Inescapable.

Tomei, who received a third Academy Award nomination The Wrestler in 2008 and Jackson, who stars in the hit Fox sci-fi series Fringe will star alongside Siddig (Kingdom of Heaven) who will team up with Nadda for the second time after their award-winning collaboration on Cairo Time. 

The film follows a Syrian ex-patriot (Siddig) who teams up with a former lover (Tomei) after his journalist daughter goes missing in the Middle East.

Jackson will co-star as a US diplomat with dubious motivations.

The film will be produced by Lance Samuels and Daniel Iron.

Christine Vachon of Killer Films, Kirk D’Amico of Myriad Pictures and Mark Slone of Alliance Films will executive produce.
